The distinctive tartan used by members of the Clan Little Society is basically a modified version of the Wallace tartan with the brick-red element reduced to 'wine' (maroon), the Wallace tartan being chosen to commemorate Edward Little's connexion with Sir William Wallace in the 13th. century.
