COATS OF ARMS
The coat of arms of the Clan Little Society was granted by Lord Lyon King of Arms in 1997. David Little, the last Chief of Clan Little, had as his coat of arms a silver St. Andrew's cross on a black background surmounted by a black demi-lion spattered with silver saltires & holding in his red-clawed paws a cutlass & a St. Andrew's cross.

MOTTOES
The Chiefs of the Little Clan had two mottoes: 'Concedo Nulli' (I yield to no-one) and 'Fidei Coticula Crux' (The Cross is the Test of Truth).

CLAN CREST BADGE
Strictly speaking, as the Clan Little has had no chief since the 17th. century and is therefore a 'heidless' clan, it cannot have a clan crest badge, as these were handed out to his followers by their chief!
As a compromise, the black demi-lion of David Little within a buckled strap bearing the motto 'Concedo Nulli' is being used as the Littles' clan crest badge until such time as a chief shall be recognized.
The clan crest badge may be worn on the person of members, but must not be used in any other way (for example on stationery, banners, etc).

 PLANT BADGE
The Clan's plant badge is heath/heather and may be worn behind the clan crest badge. Red to purple blooms are recommended for clansmen's bonnets, with white heather reserved for the ladies.
